SS-FW is a collectable bi-annual magazine covering the Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter fashion months for the fashion fanatic. Online, expect live digital coverage across all platforms from Copenhagen to Tokyo and Bridal Fashion Week. After the chaos, cut the digital noise in the ultimate runway guide; curated by top journalists, photographers, creatives across the industry for a taste of fashion excellence.
In the current market, there is no dedicated go-to book for curated fashion month coverage easily accessible to the market. As a bi-annual bible, SS-FW has a longer exposure period meaning a longer read time. Designed to be treasured, each book is named after the season it covers, for example ‘SS24’/‘FW24’.
The magazine is a B2C consumer facing magazine made by industry insiders. This publication targets the mass market aged 16-60 with an interest in fashion as the pinnacle of insider knowledge on fashion month.
The SS-FW reader is inspired by the whirlwind of fashion month, looking for insight and guidance from the tastemakers in the industry to become well-equipped on the ‘who’s who’. SS-FW offers rundowns of industry offerings, to avoid being a follower. The SS-FW reader is religiously fashionable and open to learning more. For every issue, the magazine hosts a fashion panel in each fashion district to build a community of readers and provide career advice for those who aspire to work in the industry.
This educated me on the operations and revenue streams of running a magazine with knowledge gained from competitor benchmarking. I considered potential opportunities for innovation, reviewed and extended knowledge about the professional roles involved in magazine publishing and considered suitable KPIs for assessing the effectiveness of the business idea / magazine concept.
